February 2002. Salvatore AMARO has an idea: to transmit, to the new generations, the knowledge of Food Science through play. It involves the team of Physiologists coordinated by Prof. Bruno De Luca of the Department of Experimental Medicine of the then Second University of Naples today University of Campania “L. Vanvitelli ". The "You can do" of the researchers requires to verify the hypothesis.

The pilot study is born: Kaledo the food game.

Partners: Department of Experimental Medicine - Physiology Section. Second University of Naples, Italian Association of Friends of Raoul Follereau (AIFO) and Municipality of NAPLES.

The experiment conducted in 3 schools confirms the validity of the idea: the Kaledo game transmits food knowledge to students aged 11-14 and becomes EDUCATIONAL.

Patent (authors Amaro and De Luca - May 2005) and Copyright are donated to AIFO.

After a few months, Salvatore Amaro leaves the AIFO Association, buying Patent and Copyright.

November 22nd 2005. The Kaledo Cultural Association is born eating well eating everyone, inspired by the appeal of Raoul Follereau " ... a third of humanity dies to eat too much while two-thirds eat too little ... " .
